Children’s Cancer Institute is the only independent medical research institute in Australia wholly dedicated to curing childhood cancer. Zero Childhood Cancer (ZERO) is a world-leading precision medicine program led by Children’s Cancer Institute and Kids Cancer Centre at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick. The ZERO program involves unprecedented collaboration with research and clinical partners and combines cutting-edge science, with the latest technology, and the brightest minds in research and clinical care to offer every child with cancer the best possible chance of survival.

ZERO is having an extraordinary impact, not only in terms of improving the outlook for Australian children being treated for cancer, but also in the contribution it is making to the global childhood cancer research effort, and it is changing the model of care for children with cancer.

Zero Childhood Cancer would not be possible without the generous support of our funding partners like the Audi Foundation. The generous Audi Foundation gift of 150k will fund a Leadership Grant for a Senior Researcher enabling Children’s Cancer Institute to carry out this vital research across the ZERO Childhood Cancer Program.
